About Dr. Anna Pedersen PT, DPT

Pelvic Health, Perinatal and Orthopedic Physical Therapist

My work as a physical therapist is rooted in helping people feel resilient, empowered, and at peace in their bodies.

I acknowledge the sensitivity of the pelvic region, and the functions that are housed there. Whether it be menstruation, pregnancy, nutrition and metabolism, exercise and sports, sex and gender, or menopause- I've found a passion in helping lift the load of unresolved dysfunction with my patients.

For individuals experiencing imbalances in their body, or the pelvic region- they know how impactful that can be.

For some, there are underlying health conditions involving the immune system, connective tissue, nervous system, congenital conditions and more. For others, trauma or injury is the culprit. For many, it's both.

My deep understanding of the pelvic region, and the body in whole stems from early dysfunction in my own body. I first began learning about pelvic issues as a teenager, and have expanded my knowledge through college, grad school, and clinical experience and mentorship since.

Because I know firsthand how meaningful recovery and support are, I'm honored to be trusted to continue this work in the lives of my patients.

While I see all pelvic health and perinatal conditions- my special areas of focus include adolescent pelvic health (puberty-24 years of age), LGBTQ population, pain with sex, and proactive perinatal care.
